The Darter has become one of the most unique fighting blades to ever hit the tactical market by combining Haley Strategic founder Travis Haley’s tactical experience with Toor Knives premium bladesmithing capabilities. Constructed out of CPM S35VN steel and heat-treated to approximately 60 Rockwell, the Darter is stout enough to tackle any task and features iconic reverse serrations on the spine offering an extremely sharp solution to fighting with the back of the knife while avoiding the restrictions posed by a double-edged blade. The Vapor Gray Darter features a subtle dragonfly wing pattern engraved over the black KG Gunkote spray finish and still includes Haley Strategic and Toor Knives laser-engraved logos on either side of the blade.
The Vapor Gray Darter is fitted with a gray G10 handle and black liners that are machined with texture to match the wing pattern of the namesake, Darter Dragonfly, providing excellent grip when operating in wet conditions. Thumb jimping on the spine and butt end of the blade provide for improved knife handling, and the handle also features a retention lanyard hole and stainless steel Torx screws.
The Vapor Gray Darters also include Toor Knives FlexTech KYDEX® sheath in MultiCam Black, featuring a retention adjustability screw and friction offset to reduce blade rattle inside the sheath. The sheath also includes mounting hardware and an UltiClip Slim 3.3 mount with a laser-cut loop designed to sandwich the sheath securely into your gear. Last, but not least, every Darter is finished with an individual serial number marking a piece of history from this iconic partnership. These knives are tools of a warrior, works of art, and extremely collectible.
